The Church was formed in 1986. In February 2,1987,a leased land was acquired where a make shift house constructed for church worship. Lagilagi became an organized church on January 20, 1990. The Church building (pictured) was build with the help of the "Fly and Build" team from Brisbane, Australia together with the members of the church.On May 8, 1994, Pr Roger Nixon, the then President of the Fiji Mission finally dedicated the Lagilagi church. Today,the building is debt free and members can sincerely attest to how God has powerfully led in the financing of this building.
