The Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Mathare North was organized on the 8Th July 1995. Some 84 bretheren covenanted before the Almighty God to associate to associate themselves as members of Mathare North local church of the worldwide SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH and agreed to BELIEVE AND LIVE the Gospel of our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ.
Currently the Church has membership of over 1000 with two Sabbath Schools - Ngei and Mathare North Social Hall
